3 Ways to Use Daylight Savings Time to Jumpstart Your Wellness Routine

If you’ve been thinking of starting a morning workout or fitness routine, this week is the perfect time to start! Working out isn’t the only part of your wellness routine.

Become a better person each morning 

I just finished listening to the audio version of The Miracle Morning and implemented the Miracle Morning routine. I’ve seen dramatic changes in my personal life, spiritual life and marriage in just 2 weeks. My morning looks something like this:

  • Tabata – 5 minutes
  • Meditation – 5 – 10 min
  • Prayer – 5 -10 min
  • Visualization – 5- 10 min
  • Journaling/affirmations – 5 – 10 min
  • Reading –  5 – 10 min
  • Then, I usually hit the gym for my 6 am class.

I’m on day 11 and I can’t get my day started without it. If you’re in a time crunch do each activity for 1 minute. You can also customize the activities to fit your personal development goals. If you’ve been feeling stuck in the same place in your life, but can’t figure out how to move forward, try this. You’ll love it.

Start a morning workout routine 

Since you have an extra hour, get up earlier and hit the gym. Try a short HIIT class, relaxing hot yoga or go for a run. You’ll have extra energy all day. Trust me.

Motivate a friend 

Already workout in the morning? Bring a friend who has been talking about getting in shape, but hasn’t taken action yet. They’ll thank you later.
