Black-Owned Gym Opening In Dallas Design District

GRIT Fitness, owned by the fabulous Brittani Rettig, is opening its second location in the design district! 

I attended Grit Fitness multiple times a week when I was on it getting in shape for my wedding.


She’s part of the reason why I was able to finally achieve my goal of getting abs!

I’m so proud of her for stepping out on faith to open her first gym on Ross and just over a year later she’s going for location #2, but she needs your help.  Check out the press release below and support a black business woman doing her thing.  

Dallas GRIT Fitness is celebrating 1 year of business by expanding its footprint to serve more members of the Dallas community.   A 2nd location is under construction in Dallas’ Design District.  Significant renovations are required to transform this 5,000 square foot art showroom into GRIT’s Flagship headquarters.  With the launch of this premier facility, GRIT will expand it’s class line up to offer GRITRevolution – an innovative group cycling concept!

About Founder, Brittani Rettig

Prior to founding GRIT Fitness, Brittani Rettig worked at Deloitte Consulting, LLC.  She earned her undergraduate degree from Cornell University.  She also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and numerous fitness certifications.  Rettig continues to author her leading fitness/lifestyle blog, Grit by Brit, which receives national recognition from SELF Magazine, POPSUGAR and Greatist.
