I received loads of compliments on my hair this weekend so I figured I would do a step-by-step tutorial. I styled my crochet braids in the popular havana twist style. Crochet Braids Using Marley Hair Havana Twist Step 1 Brush Hair and seperate

 

Step 1: Brush hair using a paddle brush. Start by working your way from the ends and move up the shaft.

Step 2: Separate hair in equal lengths and add foam lotion. I used the lottabody foam that I received in the We are Onyx box. I used one-to-two pumps. Pump the foam on the hair and distribute the product down the hair shaft.

Step 3: Two-strand twist the marley hair in medium size twists. Your twists should be the size of one-to-two  fingers.

Step 4: Set hair with rollers over night to lock in the style.

Step 5: Take down rollers in the morning.

Bonus: Moisturizing Scalp

When starting this style, I recommend starting on each row of your hair. If going row by row, you can easily take this time to moisturize your scalp before starting the brushing/detangling process. To do this, spray your scalp lightly with the Sporty Afros G+ spray and then adding the Sporty Afros Ayurvedic oil on top to seal. Once you finished this process, begin the detangling and brushing of the marley hair, which is described above.
