Monisha's Minute: My Frugal Finds

If I got paid a dollar every time I heard someone complain about exercise clothes being too expensive, I would have the funds to pay for my trip to Africa (Shameless plug).

So I’m on a quest to help you find bargains on fitness apparel. I’ll label them as #MoesFrugalFinds if you’re following me on Twitter.

My most recent Frugal Find was this Nike swimsuit at the Nike outlet in Conroe. The regular price for it was $69 but I only paid $15 for it.

Here’s my swimsuit again with a double pack of Nike swimming goggles I purchased from Ross for $8. The normal price was $20.

In addition, you never know what you can get for free unless you ask. I bought my mother and I a pair of running shoes. There was a bin of slide in sandals at the register. After asking 10,000 questions about the sandals the cashier said “You know what, just get you a pair.” Boom! Free sandals for me, my mom, and my dad!

So be on the look out for bargains! I’ll keep my eyes peeled too. And when I do, I’ll be sure to let you know!

Love, Peace, and Sweat,

I’m loving the ‘Love Don’t Lye’ shirt. Where did you get that from?

    • Monisha R. says:

I purchased it at an expo. I believe the company’s name was Watermelon Connection or something like that. It was a young man out of California. I could be absolutely incorrect, LOL. But I do know the name of his company was Watermelon something something. It was a play on words. I’ll try to keep a better track of where I buy things. I love buying screen tees and other items at expos, conventions, street booths, and whatnot 🙂

HEEEEEY! This is actually Darrin and I am the young man at the expo you got the shirt from. The name of my company is actually Watermelon Democracy. Thanks for buying and wearing the tee! My gf actually notified me of this post because coincidentally she went to Girls Inc with you, though you may not remember her because she is a couple years younger. But if you are looking for more tees feel free to shoot me an email.

Side Note: I am now living in LA but I am born and raised in Oak Cliff!
