I know what you’re thinking. It’s almost the end of summer, why would I do a summer shred challenge? Here are 5 good reasons to join us!
1. Keep up your summer body
So many of us work so hard in the late winter/early spring to get summer time fine and as soon as the summer is over we start slacking again. Well, we’re not going to let you! We want you to be able to rock a swim suit in mid-October without a second thought
2. Improve your diet
We’re going to focus on 21 days of clean eating. For those of you who don’t know what clean eating is, it’s eating food that has no artificial colors, flavors or ingredients. It’s all about eating food that is as close to it’s original form as possible so lots of veggies, fruits, natural meats and fish. Nothing that comes from a box or a bag. If you’re still a bit confused check out this article from ABC.com
3. Improve your workouts
Stuck in a workout rut? Switch it up and challenge yourself for 21 days. You can do ANYTHING for 21 days, right?
4. Challenge yourself
Are you sitting on the couch, watching your same show, eating the same dinner, stuck in the same routine? This challenge is for you!
5. Have fun
Join me, Alex and our other fit friends as we take this journey together. Look and feel better than you ever have!

Alex and I will be doing a combination of interval training and marathon training. We typically workout in the morning. Alex sticks to 5 days a week and I workout 6 days a week.
